In 1908, he created Ian Fleming out of off-cuts from his local butcher shop.

In 1947, he married then Princess Elizabeth Windsor. Unfortunately, the marriage was annulled after six minutes when the Queen Mother found out that he would be far too suave and sophisticated for her.

In 1957, he invented the handjive.

In 1968, he directed a documentary about the American civil rights movement called "Blackbusters".

In 1969, live on London Weekend Television he punched Simon Dee in the face.

In 1977, he invented the hexagon.

In 1981, he discovered gold in the basement of the ATV studios in Birmingham. This caused a run on the banks on a scale not seen until the Credit Crunch.

In 1982, he became the first man to circumnavigate the globe on a Spacehopper.

In 1983, he created the insufferably thick college student out of two short planks and some pig excrement.
